Cattle have complex social lives and graze most efficiently as a large group.
Our herd is a mix of related cows & calves, yearlings, and market animals.
Ruminant animals have evolved to turn cellulose-rich forage (grasses, legumes, etc.) into high-quality protein (steaks, roasts, etc.).
We take advantage of this ability and our animals maintain a grain-free diet throughout their lives.
Since 2023, we have been certified by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program, with endorsements for Soil Health and Integrated Pest Management.
